I hand make ceramic cutting wires.  The ends are hand whittled out of maple or oak.  After whittling the oak or maple, I stain the wood to prevent rot.  The wire is spun dental ligature. The wire leaves a unique design on the bottom of the pot each time it’s used.  Because it’s a fine wire it’s especially great for porcelain work!

**  If the wire should ever kink, don't pull it!! Reverse the bend.  If the wire should ever break, bring it back to me and I'll replace it for $3.50.
