Jon Puzzuoli is a young artist in Stamford, Connecticut.  Before making the transition to the ceramic arts, Jon studied black and white photography for four years under the mentorship of Greg Sacatos.

During his hiatus between photography and clay, Jon worked as a bartender for two years.  This period of artistic isolation was difficult for him.  It was then that Jon realized how creating art made him feel like a whole person.

In 2003, towards the end of his bartending stint, Jon discovered Lakeside Pottery.  After touching clay that summer, Jon knew he’d found his future in the arts.  He quit his unfulfilling job and devoted his life to ceramics.  Before the end of that summer, he purchased a Brent pottery wheel, set up a modest basement studio, and worked night and day practicing his art.

Jon quickly moved up the ranks at Lakeside Pottery.  He started as an intern and then went on to teaching children’s classes.  Now Jon teaches several adult programs, manages open studio time, and teaches an after school and camp programs for children.

Jon is selling via galleries and commissions.
